• Women and girls from Suriname, Guyana, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic are subjected to sex trafficking in the country.

• Some Brazilian women could be subjected to prostitution in Suriname’s interior around mining camps.

• NGOs report that some prostitution of children occurs in the capital of Paramaribo.
